Book # 2: Say what?

I am only on page 75 of S&S and I already have a huge list of words that I need to look up. Some of them I have a general idea of what they mean (Thanks to my high school English teachers who taught be about context clues). I have heard some of them before...but I am not sure of the exact definition. See if you can match them up!

My favorite one was moiety. I have a feeling this has nothing to do with my favorite burrito place.

Here they are. Do you know these words?
1. moeity
2. barouche
3. piqued
4. chagrined
5. demesne
6. cavil
7. insipid
8. raillery
9. curricle
10. nabob
11. mohr
12. palanquin

Match the definition to the word. Answers to follow tomorrow :)
