peanut butter cookies

I would like to make an official announcement....yes, that's right...I made my first ever from scratch peanut butter cookies....woot woot.....

I am really excited! I am the girl who specialized in microwave meals in college. Then, one Christmas I got a cookbook....yay....no wait...."Betty Crocker's Cooking Basics"??? It might as well have said "Tricia's First Cookbook" or "Cooking for Dummies."

The secret was out =( I am no Chef-Boy-Ar-Trish. That's ok. My college roommates, who were all born with a golden whisk in hand, consoled and encouraged me. "It's ok. We believe in you."

sometimes i forget how much i love virginia....but then i go there and i am reminded. it is beautiful! it is still early spring, so the green is just beginning to appear. there are so many memories as i drive by places i have been before: berryville, round hill, purcellville, leesburg. and then there is west virginia...charles town and harpers ferry...which has such dear friends and memories.....my church family.....memories of all that God has done in my heart. i was such a child when i was here...i still am...but i can see the work of God....what an amazing Father...so faithful and kind. He has healed my heart and made me whole. WOW...it is a mystery....
